Why Play Hub
A discovery channel, not another system
Parents plan their weeks and holidays in one place — and when they choose your activity, they come straight to you.
Easy for families to find
List your activity once and it's searchable by age, category, date and distance on a modern, purpose-built platform — not buried in a Facebook group, newsletter or flyer pile.
Bookings sent straight to you
Parents book directly with you — your own link, phone number or process, no new system to learn. That stays true whatever we add later: booking tools you choose, never a gate between you and your families. Commission-free during the pilot.
Visibility on what's working
See views, saves and click-throughs to your booking link for every listing — real numbers on what's catching parents' attention, not guesswork.
A simple portal, free in the pilot
Add your organisation, venues, activities and schedule yourself in one sitting — a clean, modern portal, not a website project. No sales calls, no waiting on us, and free for pilot providers.
The Play Hub difference
How parent features turn “maybe” into a booking
You already know word of mouth fills places. Play Hub is the first channel that amplifies it deliberately — every feature parents love ends with a more confident booking for you.
- 1
The right families find you
Parents add each child’s age and interests once, so the families who see your listing are the ones it actually fits.
- 2
“Will my child know anyone there?” — answered
Parents connect with friends and see exactly when their kids are interested, plus anonymous counts from their child’s school — right on your listing, either way.
- 3
Confidence snowballs
Every family that shows interest strengthens what their friends and school mates’ parents see — filling places in friendship groups, not one child at a time.
- 4
Handed to you, ready to book
When a parent decides, Play Hub sends them straight to your own booking link or phone number — you take the booking as you always have.
Built on trust — how it works for families
- School counts are anonymous — no child is ever identifiable there, and small counts stay hidden.
- Friend connections are opt-in on both sides, and a parent can pause or remove one at any time.
- Parents only see school counts for their own child’s school, and friend updates only within a connection they accepted.
- You see one overall interest total per listing — never who it's from, never a school or friend-group breakdown.

Provider FAQ
Where is the pilot running?
We’re launching first in Portsmouth, Fareham and Gosport. If you’re based elsewhere, register your interest anyway — we’ll be in touch as we expand.
What does it cost?
The pilot is completely free — free listing, no commission, no payment processing. After the pilot there will always be a free listing tier; any paid tools will be optional extras you choose, never a gate between you and your families.
Do you take a commission on bookings?
No — in the pilot, parents book directly with you through your own booking link or phone number. Play Hub takes no commission and never sits between you and your customers.
Can parents book or pay through Play Hub?
Not in the pilot — Play Hub is discovery plus a direct handoff to you, so you take bookings exactly as you do today. Booking and payment tools may come later as optional extras for providers who want them.
Can I see which schools or friend groups are interested in my activities?
No. School counts and friend-connection updates are shown only to the parents involved — never to you. You see overall views, saves, interest and handoff numbers for each listing — never school-level or friend-group breakdowns, and never who is behind a number.
What do I need to get set up?
Your organisation details, venues, activity details with schedules and photos, and the booking link or phone number parents should use. It’s a self-service listing, not a website project — most providers are live in one sitting.
